Ryan Miley is in his first year as the Hawks’ Head Men’s Basketball Coach.

Ryan joined the college coaching ranks in 2007 -- immediately after finishing his collegiate playing career -- when he joined the Ohio State Marion coaching staff. He was named Head Men’s Basketball Coach in 2008.   He led the Scarlet Wave to its best season in school history in 2010 as well as a ranking as high as 8th in the nation.

In 2011, Ryan left for Southern State Community College to accept the position of Associate Head Men's Basketball Coach, where the team also registered the most wins in school history and finished the season ranked 12th in the nation.

In 2014, he arrived at Lamar Community College (CO) for one season as the top Assistant Men's Basketball Coach for the Running Lopes before returning to Ohio and joining the UC Clermont coaching staff in 2015, once again as the top Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach.

He spent the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons as Head Men’s Basketball Coach at OSU Mansfield and found similar success as in the past, reaching the Final Four and registering the most wins in over 10 years at the school.

Ryan has sent a number of players on to full scholarship opportunities at NCAA D1 and D2 schools as well as NAIA and USCAA colleges. He also coached several former players that went on to play at the professional level.

Ryan currently holds a Master of Science Degree in Athletic Administration as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management. He is a member of multiple national honor societies and is also a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
