Request for Proposal - Online Course Materials


Hocking College is launching an all-inclusive course materials model Autumn semester, 2019. Our goal is to provide electronic learning materials to our students in all Hocking College courses to make college more affordable. We are seeking a partnership with a company to meet our electronic course material needs.

Project Goals and Scope of Services

Our goal is to provide electronic learning materials to our students in all Hocking College courses to make college more affordable. This proposal must include electronic course materials list matched to Hocking College requirements in Appendix A and a per student cost for students to access to those electronic course materials.

Anticipated Selection Schedule

The Request for Proposal timeline is as follows:

Request for RFP: May 16th, 2019

Deadline for Bidders to Submit: May 30th at 4:00pm, 2019

Selection of RFP proposal / Notification to Unsuccessful Bidders: June 1st, 2019

Time and Place of Submission of Proposals

The RFP will be posted on our website, info.hocking.edu/rfp-learning-materials, and can be downloaded from there directly as of May 16th, 2019.

Respondents to this RFP must submit one original proposal. Responses must be received no later than May 30th, 2019 at 5:00pm. Responses should be clearly marked “RFP-Electronic Course Materials Request” and mailed, emailed or delivered to Amy Morrison (morrisona30561@hocking.edu).


Hocking College needs access to the electronic course materials by July 1, 2019.

Elements of Proposal

A submission must, at a minimum, include the following elements:

  • Description of the firm that includes a general overview and how firm is qualified to fulfil Hocking College’s request for proposal.

Evaluation Criteria

The successful respondent will:

  • Have been operating continuously as a publishing agency for a minimum of 24 months and possess full-service, in-house capabilities for handling this project.
  • The education, experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications of the firm and the individuals who will be available to provide these services.
  • The competitive cost of services.
  • The expertise of the firm in working with similar customers.
