Frequently Asked Questions

When does each term start?

The Spring 2020 term begins on Monday, January 13th. The Summer 2020 term begins on Monday, May 11th. The Autumn 2020 term begins Monday, August 17th.

What if I don't know my Hocking College Student ID or my Hocking College email?

If you do not know your Hocking College Student ID or your Hocking College email, please contact Admissions at 740-753-7050.

What should I bring?

  • Bring some form of photo identification, such as a driver's license, state ID card or school ID.
  • If you are 18, have a parent and/or legal guardian with you to sign up for classes.
  • Be prepared to establish a method of payment.
  • Submit official College transcripts prior to attending the event.

What time should I arrive?

Hocking College offers morning and afternoon QuickStart events to accomodate our non-traditional students' schedules. Check-in will begin at start time as listed on the website and in the form above. Check-in will only last 15 minutes. Dates and start times will also be included in the follow up communications once this form has been submitted.

What should I expect to happen at this event?

At QuickStart we'll help you:

  • Sign up for classes
  • Confirm financial aid awards and submit additional documents, if needed.
  • Secure on-campus housing, if needed.
  • Confirm account balance and payment options.
  • Meet your program manager & department faculty.
