Border States' Scholarship Program

Students from Ohio's five bordering states (Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia will be eligible for a $1,755 scholarship per semester ($3,510 per year) scholarship.

In order to be eligible, students must:

Complete the Federal Financial Aid application (FAFSA)

Complete the Hocking College application and enroll in 12 or more credit hour classes (usually 4 classes or more – depending on the program)

Show proof of Border State residency

Sign-up and pay for residence in one of the residence halls

Sign-up and pay for a meal plan
