Border States' Scholarship Program

Starting in Fall 2018, students from Ohio's five bordering states will be eligible for a $1,695 scholarship per semester and will only pay $2,695 per semester.

In order to be eligible, students must:

  • Complete the Federal Financial Aid package (FAFSA)
  • Complete the Hocking College online registration and enroll in 12 or more credit hour classes (usually 4 classes or more – depending on the program)
  • Show proof of Border State residency
  • Sign-up and pay for residence in one of the dormitories
  • Sign-up and pay for a meal plan
